The IO-EISO-5RS485 is a 5-port RS485 serial communication expansion module designed for use with CoreIPC mainboards. It converts TTL signals to five RS485 interfaces and provides RS485 RX/TX digital signal isolation.

Five 2 × 3-pin JRS485 headers, with a 2.00 mm pitch, provide the RS485 connections. Each header includes RS485_A+, RS485_B− and GND signals. The module includes one 2 × 5-pin COM2 header with a 2.54 mm pitch, plus one 2 × 20-pin standard 4-port serial header with a 2.00 mm pitch for COM3 through COM6 TTL signal connections. Power is supplied through a 1 × 2-pin locking Phoenix terminal with 12V and GND pins.

The module measures 90 mm × 60 mm and includes four mounting holes for installation inside an enclosure.
